Program Descriptions

Vinyasa for Body and Mind
Vinyasa, meaning ‘to place in a special way’ or in short ‘to flow’

This 60 minute all levels class will guide you through a sequence of yoga poses, flowing from one pose to the next with intention and awareness. Uniting yogic philosophy, breath and movement, you are able to create strength and stillness; increase flexibility and a sense of ease. Each class incorporates breath awareness, standing, seated, and balance poses. Honoring the natural flow of life no two classes are ever the same.

Hatha Yoga
Jenna’s Hatha classes create posturing from the inside out, from core-body to limbs. With a focus on spinal alignment Hot Hatha All Levels will help you move safely into postures through breath, experiencing both challenge and stillness. This class offers a good foundation for beginners while allowing more seasons yoga participants the opportunity to move more deeply into their practice.

Power Flow Yoga
Jessica offers an invigorating class that focuses on alignment, flexibility and strength through creative sequencing, while encouraging growth through philosophy of yoga, use of mantras, meditation and work with the chakra system.

    DC, RYT 500

    (Wednesday 5:30 pm and Thursday 9 am) Jenna has been a practicing chiropractor in the state of Massachusetts for over twenty years. She began teaching Centergy, a fitness-based yoga program, in 2000 at Global Fitness Center and has since enriched her yoga training studying under Diane Featherstone at Frog Pond Yoga Center in Princeton, Massachusetts and then under Patty Townsend at The Yoga Center of Amherst in Amherst, Massachusetts. She continues her studies attending workshops and trainings in areas of yoga practice, mindfulness and mediation. Jenna’s passion is to help people feel good in their bodies.

    (Monday 5:30 pm and Tuesday 9 am) Heather attended her first yoga class while in high school. Yoga has been a growing part of her life ever since. After the birth of her daughter, her practice became ever more important. To Heather, yoga has the power to change and heal; uniting the body and mind, opening the connection to spirit. Yoga changed her life and continues to do so. In 2013 she felt compelled to take this practice to another level, earning her 200 hour teaching certificate. She continues to further her education through training and workshops. Heather is excited to share this practice with you.

    Global Fitness 24 is proud to offer the area’s absolute PREMIER yoga program! Class size is limited for maximum results and will vary depending on yoga program offered. Participants will be admitted on a first come, first serve basis. Classes can be purchased individually or in packages of up to 20 classes. Non-members are ALWAYS welcome!

    Mat Rentals are available for $5 per class
